I'm a fan of short namespaces - because I tend to ban 'using
namespace' (If someone calls sort(...) I want to know without looking
whether that's std::sort or my::sort)

You could call it Boost.Fultz and backronym that.  Or Boost.Futlz -
Function Utilz.
