That's not true in general. Sure you can sign a contract saying whatever,
but the copyright law may say that said contract is null and void. You have
to read what the specific law says. Some prohibit granting exclusive rights,
some prohibit granting perpetual rights, some prohibit signing away moral
rights. It's all very alien to people accustomed to English/American
copyright.
