It looks as if you have already had a correct answer.
Asio is one of the most correct, succinct and beautifully conceived
libraries I have ever used. The documentation is equally succinct. Every
single word has been carefully chosen to express maximum information in the
minimum space.
For this reason I had to read it several times before I understood the
incredible utility of the library and the subtle importance of the many
guaranteed and invariants mentioned in the text.
