Actually, in GSoC, we have project templates for students without an
original idea (and also to give a glimpse of what kind of projects we're
after) and there are also student ideas. The astronomy proposal was an
original idea of Pranam, so you better write an idea/project of your own
related to astronomy. Better yet if compare the two proposals.
