There probably are, but I would like to fight against misinformation (based
on quick glances at a readme and such) being established as truth for the
next 10 years. The only thing I am trying to convey is that vcpkg does not
do binaries and it's not vc/windows only. What it is though is OSS and
anyone can contribute and make things work on nix/osx as they please and
that CMake is the preferred solution. There is a requirement that it works
with vc/windows, though, which seems rather reasonable as people power is
not free.
