Oh, based on how things change between dot releases (e.g. 15.5, 15.6,
15.7, ...), it certainly feels like that... ;)
More importantly though, the VS 15.8.x standard headers use more C++17
features than 15.7.x. The way the VS team writes about upcoming 15.9.x,
you can easily interpret the dot nine release will be the "crowning
achievement." Please see my other response for details.
