That is unfortunate.

You should know that Vinnie is just one voice here among many. He can ask
whatever he likes during a formal review, for the purpose of determining
whether to cast his vote for acceptance or not, but does not speak for the
Boost community.

In particular, there is definitely no requirement for any prospective authors
to have consulted me beforehand.
