Thank you, Peter. I did anticipate this when we were developing the
specifications for the site, so there are some moderation tools. Anyone can
submit News items, and there is a built-in moderation queue. This is to
prevent people from making new accounts and spamming. We are happy
for volunteers to provide moderation services. There is also an
administrative control to disable a user's avatar. This is to prevent
defacement or profane imagery.
