Sorry Joel, I guess it's just my day to dump on you :-)

There's one situation in the math-toolkit docs where I haven't been able to 
get rid of the deprecated \n's: that's inside lists:

* Item 1 is \n
quite long\n
indeed.
* Item 2.
* etc.

Offhand, I don't see an easy way to deal with this "properly" either, anyone 
any ideas?
