Subject: [Boost-docs] [ibd] Adding a 'down' nav button?

I was wondering about how to chunk docs together given the three nav buttons
(up, left and right) that end up in boostbook docs. The three work well at
the moment because it follows the TOC layout:
1
|
\---2a
| |
| \---3a
| |
| \---3b
|
\---2b
it reads left to right and top to bottom. The problem is, if you want a
quick overview, you can't scroll straight between 2a, 2b, 2c, etc.. I
naively guessed left and right would do that, and up and down would traverse
between levels (of detail/depth):
top level--------------------\
| |
second level second level
/ \
third level third level
CSS3 column support (um... here: http://tinyurl.com/6usg8) can handle this
layout easily, which falls back to what it is now when there's no support.
I have no *book/xslt knowledge, but I'll go a-diggin, if there's any
interest.
Regards,
Darren
