Just for Information:

Patches for the xsltproc "create directory bug"

     http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=462877

and for support of drive-rooted pathnames

     http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=464432

have been accepted upstream. This obsoletes the necessity to have the 
doc tool-chain (on windows) rely on patched versions of xsltproc.
