Something like that... I copy the contents of the html dir into the src
dir and packages the files in the src dir. So yes I need to move them,
and hence really need relative paths.

Sounds twisted ;-) But I might be able to do something like that, as
long as the html files themselves can go into the src (i.e. html) dir.
But in general this behavior makes it really inconvenient for people to
use BoostBook, and hence Quickbook, outside of Boost.

I have a simple question... Why is the change from the previous behavior
needed?

I'm looking at it now... Since I didn't know the problem existed until I
ran into it last night :-)
