I have this at the end of my jamfile to copy a pdf docs to the /docs folder

install pdf-install : standalone : <install-type>PDF <location>. ;

but when my pdf is called mylibrary.modified.pdf (by addition of an index
etc)

it doesn't 'rename' it back to mylibrary.pdf

Can any jam wizards tell me the jam syntax to do this please?
