Paul, we're talking about two completely different things here: xsltproc 
(the program and libraries) should be a recent version, so should the 
Docbook XSL stylesheets, *but*, the Docbook DTD is fixed at 4.2 as this is 
the *specification* of the Docbook standard we're targeting.
