[ublas] gcc 3.4 and operator<<

I now uses gcc 3.4.3 under solaris 9, and the operator<< on matrix or 
vector just send me an empty line ending with \n... I did not change 
anything, only gcc.
I #include "boost/numeric/ublas/io.hpp" to use the I/O operators.

any suggestions ?
