I am using boost 1.32, gcc 3.4, here is the peace of code :

template<class T>
        void setValue(T& t, const std::string& value) {
          std::stringstream s;
          s << value;
          s >> t;
};

and I try to use

setValue<ublas::symmetric_matrix<double> >
