[ublas] bindings for sparse matrices?

Don't forget the UMFPACK bindings for sparse matrix factorisation and solving.
These are in the same boost::numeric::bindings tree as the LAPACK bindings.

Under debian, obtain the package libufsparse for the actual libraries.
