Cpp_int and cpp_dec_float conversion

Hello, is there a way to convert from cpp_int to cpp_dec_float and viceversa? message_queue and libvevent

hi, i'm trying to use the boost::interprocess::message_queue class in an event driven software that use for a great part sockets and libevent for the event loop. normally for monitoring of events in this software we use the file descriptor of the PF_UNIX sockets. now, i'm trying to understand if the message_queue generate signals or other events when useing the blocking methods and if there is something i can feed to the event_new() function of libevent. i didn't find anything that give me this information in the doc: http://www.boost.org/doc/libs/1_53_0/doc/html/interprocess/synchronization_… thankss -- Francesco Berni - kurojishi Registered Linux User #512920 GPG: A1FB5252

[Xpressive] Problem with more than 49 named captures

Hi all, I am having trouble getting more than 49 named captures to work with boost xpressive 1.49.0. I extended the default mark_tag like so: boost::xpressive::mark_tag s10(10); boost::xpressive::mark_tag s11(11); boost::xpressive::mark_tag s12(12); … boost::xpressive::mark_tag s48(48); boost::xpressive::mark_tag s49(49); together with a regular expression that uses these named captures: (skip rather long expression)… (s49= +(boost::xpressive::set[boost::xpressive::range('0','9')|'-'])) This works as long as I stick to only using up to s49, as soon as I start using s50 the regular expression no longer seems to match. Is there anything obvious I am missing before I start digging deeper? Thanks, Mike

Hi all, first, I want to apologize for the delay in getting this review results out. Looks like my last email get lost at some point. Anyway, after the initial review of Rene Riviera Boost.Predef, my decision was to Conditionnally Accept Boost.Predef under the request that the comments raised during the review period were addressed. Since then, Rene worked hard on actually making those changes so I now feel confident to announce that Boost.Predef is ACCEPTED as a Boost library. Regards

boost::wave help?

Hi all, I'm a newbie in c++ and i want to use boost::wave library to preprocess a c file. I found a exe file in boost site which works fine. But i want a similar executable/binary for Solaris 10/11.I'm using g++. I've installed boost in both solaris 10 and 11. But how i'm getting a wierd linker error with too big error message. Any help is greatly appreciated. thanks Raghu

newbie trying use boost using INTEL compilter

Dear All, I built boost_1_53_0 using the intel compiler (__INTEL_COMPILER is 1310). It seemed to work great. However, when I try to compile my app (also using intel compiler) I get the following error: ../core/four_multi.cpp(675): error: class "boost::asio::ip::basic_resolver_iterator<boost::asio::ip::tcp>" has no suitable copy constructor The code has previously compiler and worked great using the gcc. boost::bind issues

Hello all: I'm having some issues with boost::bind. [serialization] Custom Shared pointer

hi i have couple questions about boost serilazation regarding shared pointers. First off i was wondering if boost::shared_ptr has working serilazation code? if so maybe i can learn from there. What's im trying to do is save fairly simple custom shared-pointer class. All it should take is to save the pointer in the class and ref count as well the Parent variable which is pointer to the parent shared-pointer. what needs to be considered for this? should i disable tracking for the shared-pointer and does the pointer stored in the shared-pointer require some special considerations? thanks.
