I am a little confused by the section of code in the ifdef of portable_binary_oarchive 48 #ifdef BOOST_BIG_ENDIAN 49 cptr += (sizeof(boost::intmax_t) - size); 50 if(m_flags & endian_big) 51 reverse_bytes(size, cptr); 52 #else 53 if(m_flags & endian_big) 54 reverse_bytes(size, cptr); 55 #endif I would expect line 50 to be if(m_flags & endian_little) Chris

[ptr_container] unordered containers added to trunk

Dear all, I have wrapped Daniel James' unordered containers s.t. we now have ptr_unordered_set ptr_unordered_multiset ptr_unordered_map ptr_unordered_multimap It would be great if someone would try to use the version found in trunk. There's no new docs yet, but if you know the old ptr_map/ptr_set, it should be straightforward to use them. Any comments are most welcome. best regards -Thorsten

[statechart] usage in realtime application

Hi, I'm trying to convert a custom statemachine implementation in a real-time application to Boost.Statechart. The FAQ mentions that custom allocators have to be provided for Event, StateMachine etc. in order to get deterministic timing behaviour. I'm currently working on an allocator which uses an internal preallocated memory pool. Now my question is whether it is possible to determine how much memory i need to preallocate for the States and Events. Regards, Marc

I wrote: #include "boost/filesystem/operations.hpp" #include "boost/filesystem/path.hpp" #include <iostream> or #include "boost/filesystem.hpp" #include <iostream> but in both cases this error occurs: LINK : fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file 'libboost_filesystem-vc90-mt-gd-1_35.lib' How can I solve this problem? Me too. I don't even mind if they are HTML files, as long as it's one HTML page per library and it prints OK. The sourceforge link ( https://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=7586&package_id=1597… ) is somewhat limited in scope, only a handful of libraries, and it is 2 versions out of date (1.33 vs 1.35). Any other suggestions? I read somewhere about using htmldoc but even that is too daunting at present.

BGL problem wit prims

The following: vector<standard::UnDirectedVertex> parent(num_vertices(graph_)); prim_minimum_spanning_tree(graph_,&parent[0]); gives me the minimum spanning tree using the boost::edge_weight property however I would like to use another property as I use the boost::edge_weight property for other things. I tried as described here but have some problems see error messages.
