Dear all, I am able to installed boost_1_49_0 in my linux fedora 16 OS and then I exported the bjam file and also BOOST_ROOT. I copied two files into my code directory and name of these files are user-config.jam and boost-build.jam and content of these files as shown bellow. when I try to compile the my code it is giving the following error. Please any one get me out of this problem. my user-config.jam file contains using boost : 1.49 : /home/odtone/Documents/mihf/boost_1_49_0 ; using gcc : : : <cxxflags>-glib-2.0 -dbus-glib-1 : <libs>-glib-2.0 -dbus-glib-1 ; using gcc : : : <compileflags>-glib-2.0 -dbus-glib-1 : <libs>-glib-2.0 -dbus-glib-1 ; my boost-build.jam file contains boost-build /home/odtone/Documents/mihf/boost_1_49_0/tools/build/v2 ; Even though I feel everything looks ok still I am getting following error. how to use staged 1.51 with installed boost 1.49 with autotools?

Hi, I use Debian with Boost 1.49 installed. I want to test my application with 1.51 that is compiled into a stage directory. According to ax_boost_boost.m4: If no path to the installed boost library is given the macro searchs under /usr, /usr/local, /opt and /opt/local and evaluates the $BOOST_ROOT environment variable. Getting undirected graph from directed graph discarding properties

I have a directed graph that has some properties, and I want the underlying undirected graph, but don't need the properties there. Assuming G is the directed graph with properties, and G_sym is the undirected without them, up until boost 1.50 I used: boost::copy_graph(G, G_sym); But as of boost 1.51 and 1.52 this gives an error due to the properties. Is there an easy way to do what I want to do in boost, and if yes, how? [BGL] How do I iterate over a labeled graph?

I am trying to iterate over my labeled_graph like so: struct Vertex { std::string vertType; }; typedef Graph::vertex_iterator VertexIter; VertexIter vertexIter, vertexEnd; for (tie(vertexIter, vertexEnd) = vertices(graph); vertexIter != vertexEnd; vertexIter++) { std::string vertexType = graph[*vertexIter].vertType; } However, I get a compiler error saying that graph has no operator [] that accepts an unsigned int. Compile errors under VS 2012 using Boost 1.44

Hi folks, I'm upgrading a old project, first created using Visual Studio 2008, to Visual Studio 2012. This project uses the boost libraries to implement regular expressions, and a few other things. [Pool] Use singleton_pool in struct

Hi! I have a problem with singleton_pool when I use it into a struct. Other arguments are accessed via coroutine<>::self_t::get< int >() and results via coroutine<>::get(). interface provides input/output iterators. typedef coroutine< int( int, int> > coro_t; int fn( coro_t::self_t & c) { int x = c.get< 0 >(); int y = c.get< 1 >(); c.yield( x +y); ... } coro_t coro( fn); int res = c( 3, 7).get(); Version 2) requires that coroutine-fn has only one argument too == coroutine<> with inverted signature. Other arguments are access via coroutine<>::get(). interface provides input/output iterators. typedef coroutine< int( int, int> > coro_t; int fn( coroutine< tuple< int, int >( int) & c) { int x = c.get().get< 0 >(); int y = c.get().get< 1 >(); c( x +y); ... } coro_t coro( fn); int res = c( 3, 7).get(); Both implementations are not optimized - I think we should get a small and clean interface first. [interprocess] error sending message

Hi all, I've got a problem using boost::interprocess::memory_queue on Windows - when trying to call send(), I get a null pointer returned by free_msg. This is because there is an offset_ptr with an offset of 1 at the requested location, causing null to be returned. An exception is then thrown with the message "boost::interprocess::message_queue corrupted". Here is a brief summary of my two applications: Application 1: - a Windows service - creates two message queues, messagesToApplication and messagesToService - creates a thread that waits for messages in messagesToService Application 2: - a Windows application - opens the two message queues, with open_only. - tries to send a message to Application 1, the Windows service after it opens the message queues. Everything works right up until application 2 tries to send a message via messagesToService. I haven't yet been able to identify why the offset_ptr has an offset of 1. If anybody has any suggestions as to what I might be doing wrong, I'd very much appreciate it! Thanks, Ian
