[Fwd: compile time container type identification]

Hello I need to identify if a container is of a certain type. Specifically, from inside the code for container template <class T> Cont, I want to identity if T is itself of type Cont<U> for some U. (The type of U does not matter.) I couldn't see anything in *_traits.hpp that looks applicable. Any advice or references would be appreciated.
