[serialization] non-virtual destructors in 1.33.1

Between 1.33 and 1.33.1_beta, several classes in the serialization library were changed from having virtual destructors to having non-virtual destructors. An example is basic_oserializer. Many of these classes have virtual functions, with the result that "g++ -Wall" now complains about them ("has virtual functions but non-virtual destructor"), so that I now get tons of warnings when compiling code that uses the serialization library. My guess would be that none of these warnings are actually interesting, but that belief doesn't really help all that much. Was there a good reason for this change? Could it be reverted? If not, is there some other thing that could be done to eliminate these warnings? For 1.33.1 release?

Doubt about regex speed.

Hi All, I have one system that receive many messages (TCP/IP transport) on one second, and I validate these messages whit a sequence of if,s and switchs, see exemple of message: 19092;1;12345678;1111222233334444;123;0512;10000;1;0 I would like know if I use regex to do this I will have improvement in performance of my system, or I will have delay in my system? Is there a Boost based solution to this circular reference problem

Description: I have a class hierarchy which unfortunatelly results in circular dependencies not allowed by C++. Is there any simple way to fix this? Please note, I have trivialized this problem for the purpose of illustration. The actual code that needs this is far more complex. LINK problem (RW STD) -- help

Hi all, I have one problem, if any one can help-me. I did try use boost (regex) whit my system that use RogueWave STD, but when I try compile my system I receive 5 link errors (see below :error 1), then I did try use this BJAM command line to build LIBS: bjam "-sBUILD=debug <include>-IC:\RogueWave\SourcePro\Ed8 <include>-IC:\RogueWave\SourcePro\Ed8\include <include>-IC:\RogueWave\SourcePro\Ed8\include\ansi <include>-IC:\RogueWave\SourcePro\Ed8\lib <cxxflags>-D_RWCONFIG=rmd <runtime-link>dynamic <threading>multi" "-sTOOLS=vc-7_1" this build libs, but the error continue. I did also try this: bjam "-sBUILD=debug <cxxflags>-IC:\RogueWave\SourcePro\Ed8\include <cxxflags>-IC:\RogueWave\SourcePro\Ed8\include\ansi <cxxflags>-IC:\RogueWave\SourcePro\Ed8\lib<cxxflags>-D_RWCONFIG=rmd <runtime-link>dynamic <threading>multi" "-sTOOLS=vc-7_1" But this did't compile. Version 0.9 of the Boost Graph Library Python bindings has been released. The BGL-Python bindings provide access to many of the features of the C++ Boost Graph Library from Python, blending the rapid prototyping and application development capabilities of Python with the power and performance of C++. BGL-Python is the successor to the experimental Python bindings found in Boost 1.33.0, providing more algorithms, better data structures, and drastically improved documentation. Note: Boost does not support the non-standard "Safe" C++ Library shipping with Visual C++ 8.0, which may result in many spurious warnings from Boost headers and other standards- conforming C++ code. Hi All, I need build boost whit other std, have any way to do this? I need this because my system use STD provided by RogueWave, than I need that boost is build with this std. If have way to do this, what is the steps? Thanks to all -- :o)
