boost::variant should be variant<int,int> => int variant<int,double> => double variant<int,boost::rational<int> > => boost::rational<int> variant<int,double,std::string> => variant<double,std::string> I wrote such extension https://github.com/niitsuma/variant_shrink Default generalize order is int < boost::rational<int> < float < double < std::complex<double> You can use other custom generalize relation by defining function object is_generalizable_to<Type,TypeTo>

Hi, According to the timeline linked from the svn.boost.org frontpage, we're already using Git: https://svn.boost.org/trac/boost/wiki/ModCvtSchedule But I'm pretty sure that's not the case, right? What is the current schedule? Sebastian

[tweener] How to copy image files in documentation

Hi, I wrote the documentation of Boost.Tweener in boostbook format. I have references to some images in the documentation but they are not copied in the target html directory when I type bjam html How can I make the image directory to be automatically copied in the target directory of the generated documentation? Since I am not familiar with the build process of Boost yet, I would accept a reason not to do this as an answer :) Regards, Julien Jorge

Hello, I found some inconcistency on the following example: http://www.boost.org/doc/libs/1_53_0/libs/graph/example/matching_example.cpp This code has graph diagrams as follows: 0 1---2 3 \ / \ / 4---5 6---7 | | | | 8---9 10---11 / \ / \ 12 13 14---15 16 17 Vertices 1 and 2 is connected on the diagram. But "add_edge(1,2,g)" isn't called. I attached the patch that adds the code above. After applying the patch, result is changed. But I think that the essence of the example is not changed.
