[gsoc17]Getting interests in uBLAS

Hi, I am Ruoyun, I'm back again.:) In these few days, I'm getting start with boost by [link](https://github.com/boostorg/boost/wiki/Getting-Started), and got something wrong with developing/checking out a particular branch that in Ubuntu, I can not find the file called"modular-boost",but when I tried to "cd libs/geometry",it went run. When I tried to contact the devs of geometry in gitter, IRC, and email, there is only a reply for me. So I'm pretty interested in math about any aspects, because during my life of algorithm competition, I was good at algorithms in geometry, number theory, linear algebra and etc. I am really want to contact with mentor more frequently to learn more knowledge and provide more contributions to boost. Hi Everyone, This is to remind you about the ongoing review of safe_numerics library by Robert Ramey. The review will run till March 11th. Even if you find the format of the full review too demanding, a partial review, or simply your perception of whether the library should be given a place in Boost, will be of value, and may have an impact on the final decision. safe_numerics is a set of drop-in replacements for the built-in integer types, which make the guarantee that the results of operations are either correct according to the rules of integer arithmetic or report a diagnosable error (rather than offering modulo arithmetic results, or resulting in undefined behavior, or returning incorrect results as in the case of signed vs. unsigned comparisons). Dear community, As some of you might be aware through sporadic discussions on this mailing list throughout the last couple of years, I've been working for quite a while on a modern template metaprogramming library called Metal, that I advocate as a direct replacement for the aging Boost.MPL. I believe my work is finally complete now and so I come to you to request for feedback and ask whether you think that Metal would be a valuable addition to the Boost distribution. My intention is to request a formal review in the next days / weeks, depending on your preliminary feedback. In a glimpse, Metal is a pure template metaprogramming that explores all modern features available to C++14 to overcome the limitations of Boost.MPL, most notably: * vastly improved performance [1]; * terser syntax [2]. At that time, Metal was lazy and very similar to MPL, but since then it underwent great simplification and embraced the all-eager design, so I don't think this would be a good idea anymore. Besides, it soon became clear that this would be a huge undertaking with potential to inadvertently breaking a lot of good code to little gain, so I decided instead to tackle the problem migration from MPL by providing a handy adaptor [3]. [outcome] Tutorial third rewrite finished (I hope)

I know the Safe Numerics review is currently happening and almost straight thereafter comes the final Stacktrace review so people are probably a bit tired of reviewing stuff, however I believe the third rewrite of the Outcome tutorial is now finished at long last. In case anyone is interested, the biggest showstopper remaining before this goes into the Boost review queue is the reference docs: doxygen chokes badly on the preprocessor metaprogramming Outcome uses and generate rubbish docs. I didn't find much success with Standardese or Doxypress either, so I'm currently working with my shiny new Python C99 conforming preprocessor (https://github.com/ned14/pcpp) to partially preprocess Outcome into a form doxygen can cope with. Hi Everyone: My name is Ruoyun Jing, I am an undergraduate student in Northwest University(China) of Software Engineering.Although i am a girl,i really love coding and algorithms!!! I've coded many algorithms problems with C++ and Python,and got Bronze Metal in ACMICPC Asia Shenyang Regional contest. GSoC is really a precious chance for me to get in touch with open source software. After reading all the organizatuions and their projects, I'm pretty interested in R-tree serialization. Despite my lack of project experience,i will try my best to learn ,code and communicate with mentor!!!
