Hello, Just dropping a reminder regarding my proposal. I'd really appreciate any comments and suggestions for improvements anyone might have! I'm unsure of whether I've been specific enough while describing the interfaces to the proposed functionality, so if anyone feels I should flesh out my proposal a bit more, I'll gladly do so. [gsoc18] Boost.uBLAS support for tensors: seeking a mentor

Hello, My name is Konstantin. I would like to add tensor support to boost library. I am an aspirant (1st year) in computer science from Moscow Technological University, Russia (I believe aspirant corresponds to PhD Student in USA), and I have taken extra tensor algebra and differential geometry courses. My motivation, besides my affection towards topology and tensors, comes from the fact that I need C++ tensor library for use in my own project. Since I'm going to implement it, I would like to see it as a part of great open source project like Boost that anyone can use. Â I have completed a competency test: [1]http://coliru.stacked-crooked.com/a/5cf1908494c2da5d Due to some circumstances I had to do that in web ide, but I should be able to send it in separate .h and .cpp files directly via email if needed. Hello, >From Boost submission template, https://svn.boost.org/trac10/wiki/SoCSubmissionTemplate, I'm a little confused by the wording of the following question: "What are your plans beyond this Summer of Code time frame for your proposed work?" So, does this question ask about how much time I'll spend on my proposed project besides the GSoC expected timeframe, or does it ask about my plans for some projects other than this GSoC project? Valid point. I understand that may be the case indeed. OTOH, I think, the CMake has become a delicate topic in Boost. Every time I want to ask about any kind of use of CMake in Boost, I fear that will make the snowball rolling down the hill, again :) For instance, I wish Boost offered CMake support library, review eg. BCM and let it in. I'm not speaking of building Boost with CMake, no! I mean joint development of support scripts for Modern CMake which are useful for those Boost library developers who wish to add CMake configuration (along the official BB2), for convenience. I think such bunch of Boost for CMake scripts would foster better common practices. Currently, there is bunch of CMake-enabled libraries, each developed in isolation, each using different conventions, techniques, custom macros, modules.
