This goes a small way to getting string_algo to work with bcc32. The current errors I'm getting are in detail/find_format.hpp. If anyone can suggest a solution, I'd be happy to try it out. I don't know why 7.1 says it's running (we don't get to see results of running things) but I know that if I funn args.py from my command line I get the same errors shown in results. I further note, that if I remove the '""" ........ """ from the .py file it claims it runs. I was under the impression that everything between """ and another """ was comment apparently something has changed in python 2.4, but I'm still baffled that the 7.1 says it's running. you might be interested in this document from the new c++0x mailing: http://www.open-std.org/JTC1/SC22/WG21/docs/papers/2005/n1796.html for the naming discussion, proposed syntax is for(int i : vec) (personally I don't care if it's called BOOST_FOREACH or BOOST_FOR) I've questioned in the past if it is expected behaviour to do "hoisting". the proposal does. Hi Boosters, I'd like to ask for more caution when modifying explicit-failures-markup.xml file. Somebody has marked vc7 as unusable for string_algo lib, although the workaround is already on the way, and there is just few fixes to be done. I have unmarked this toolset few days ago, but it gets marked again. (Probably by mistake) It slows down my work since I don't have a direct access to this compiler so I must relay on the regression tests. Thanks. Pavol
