Compile problem with como-win32

Given: C:\src\workspace\boost>bjam "-sTOOLS=como-win32" "-sCOMO_BACKEND=dig" "-sCOMO_BACKEND_PATH=c:\dm" --with-python-root=c:\python24 stage I'd expect the build-process to start, using Digital Mars as backend. Boost.Jam tries to call c:\dm\..\Common7\Tools\vsvars32 and set COMO_MS_INCLUDE to c:\dm\include. Clearly it somehow thinks that it should setup for a VC7 backend, although it *does* correctly issue "como --dig ..." to compile. What's happening? -- /Brian Riis

explicit-failures-markup question

I see that wild-cards are supported for toolset names in explicit-failures-markup.xml. Are they also supported for test names? We have a series of tests that have similar names (testtime_serialize, testtime_serialize_xml, testtime_serialize_std_config). I'd like to use a wild-card to markup all three tests (testtime_serialize*). Will it work? Thanks, Bart

how to compile giallo?

I just wanted to study the giallo aka. boost_net library. Unfortunately so far I cannot manage to compile the lib. I checked out the sources from CVS. I am running W2K with vc-7_1. I set BOOST_ROOT, and invoked bjam -s"TOOLS=vc-7_1" --with-boost_net in giallo root. All I get, is a report of a number of targets, nothing else happens. Is the build assumed to work on Windows? Do I need a special dircetory layout? Any help appreciated! Roland

in looking through some of the compiler config files, I find BOOST_NO_SFINAE. However, I don't find this in the config documentation. Is there a reason why it shouldn't be there? Robert Ramey
