date_time test failure

L.S. The date_time test testfiletime_functions is failing on mingw 3.2 and 3.4 and on vc8.0 with the same error: ../libs/date_time/test/posix_time/testfiletime_functions.cpp:26: call of overloaded `pow(int, int)' is ambiguous The line in questions is: static_cast<int>(std::pow(10, time_duration::num_fractional_digits() - 3)); I changed the 10, to 10.0, to solve the ambiguity, locally and now the test compiles and passes. boost.regex v4 compilation issue on VC++ 6 (and correction suggestion)

Compilation of boost regex v4 (from the CVS) fails with the following error under VC6: f:\projects\cpptool\cppparser_dependencies\cppparser\include\boost\regex\v4\ basic_regex.hpp(221) : error C2143: syntax error : missing ',' before '<' f:\projects\cpptool\cppparser_dependencies\cppparser\include\boost\regex\v4\ basic_regex.hpp(298) : see reference to class template instantiation 'boost::reg_expression<charT,traits,Allocator>' being compiled Looking at the sources (inside template reg_expression definition): bool BOOST_REGEX_CALL operator==(const reg_expression& e)const { return compare(e) == 0; } bool operator != (const basic_regex<charT, traits, Allocator>& e) // <<< *** error here *** { return compare(e) != 0; } basic_regex is defined later in the source, hence the compilation error. Also, the fact that operator == & != have different prototype is very suspicious... Using reg_expression instead or basic_regex would fix the error. Baptiste.

Boost Software License Progress As Of 20040814

However, there's still low-hanging fruit, and there's still some work to be done: * Authors We Need For The BSL "John R Bandela" is in blanket-permission.txt as "John Bandela". "Robert Ramey - http www rrsd com" is in blanket-permission.txt as "Robert Ramey". "Thorsten Ottosen" is in blanket-permission.txt as "Thorsten Jørgen Ottosen". It should be really easy to take care of these aliases. * See the "Old style Boost licence #8" - bcp is getting /terribly/ confused about the file boost/archive/impl/basic_xml_grammar.hpp . * There are 86 files with no recognizable license information, and 247 with no recognizable copyright holder. The latter are all MPL though. * The 20 files that have been automatically BSLed look good to me - no obvious munging, though I don't know if I should be looking for anything specific. * There are still 641 files that have not been BSLed (I think this category is disjoint from no-license and no-copyright). Compare this to the 4738 BSLed files! Whoo! Is bcp being enhanced to annotate which Boost modules are entirely BSLed and which aren't yet? This could go in the Input Information section; each module could have a tag saying "Not BSLed", "BSLed, But Dependent On Modules Not BSLed", and "BSLed".
