Adding optional<T&> find like method to associative containers in boost.

Hi everybody, I presume somebody thought of this before but for some reason it never happened, but just in case it was never discussed I wonder if people here believe adding an nicer version of find(with different name obviously) to associative containers in boost would be beneficial? Since boost::optional allows references this would work. I presume naming is what most people will have strong feeling about. I personally prefer ofind/oat since I love short names, Barry suggested different names in his blog <https://brevzin.github.io/c++/2023/05/23/map-api/>, e.g. try_at. boost::optional did not get all the updates C++23 std::optional got, e.g. transform that make this usage compose nicely, but those could be added to boost::optional.

Asio and post-quantum cryptography

Hi, I am trying to find out if Asio is usable with new post-quantum cryptographic algorithms in OpenSSL, e.g. when using TLS 1.3 connections and pure ML-DSA TLS certificates. The main question is whether Asio is affected by the much larger size of the new certificate types. My understanding is that Asio doesn't care about those sizes, it has no hardcoded buffers for keys and certs, and just uses buffers provided by users of the library. So if a user wants to support larger certs, they need to provide larger buffers, and Asio will pass those buffers through to OpenSSL. But I don't know if any new member functions might be needed for the ssl context object. Has anybody tried using Asio with post-quantum support in openssl? Or is it something that will take new development effort in Asio? Hi all, Now that we have the new website, has the procedure to submit release notes changed? This page: https://www.boost.org/doc/contributor-guide/release-notes.html lists the old procedure of using quickbook files, but if I remember correctly this was one of the things that were meant to change with the new website. Reserved identifiers used for include guards

Hi, I found that many include guard macros in Boost contain "__HPP" (note the double underscore). It would be nice to reduce those underscores to one, because identifiers containing two consecutive underscores "are reserved to the implementation for any use" (C++ standard, [lex.name]). -- Gennaro Prota <https://prota.dev>
