[proto] weird transform behaviour

I've hit something that I find weird in the behaviour of transforms. I don't know what is the intention. Basically, what seem to be happening is that if a transform doesn't cover all the cases but a pattern matches at some external level, then that is taken as a match. For instance, given the following transform: struct width_transform : proto::or_ < terminal_width<proto::terminal< number<_> > >, binary_width<proto::binary_expr<proto::tag::plus, width_transform, width_transform> > > {}; and evaluating the transform for proto::binary_expr<proto::tag::minus, something, something>, I get binary_width "called". If I add a pattern for proto::binary_expr<_, width_transform, width_transform> then that pattern is used. I would expect a failure at compile time, but in any case adding a wider pattern after a narrower pattern should never change whether the former matches or not. Unless I'm making something stupid, in which case just let me know, I'm used to it. Best regards, Maurizio

Boost singleton

Hi, I have just moved company and in my old company I used to use a RogueWave singleton class. I was looking to use the boost singleton class. However after looking at the implementation I saw there was no private default copy constructor or assignment operator. Does this not mean that I could create multiple instances of my singleton via assignment or some other form of copying? I saw some discussion of a better singleton representation in boost and I was wondering what the status of this was, and I was also wondering what other people use for their singletons? [1.34.0beta] Fault in read_write_mutex - write_locked query

Hello! I am very happy to see that the read_write_mutex has returned to boost. I am particularly grateful that there is now scheduling configuration too. This is very cool. In the latest beta version of read_write_mutex I noticed a small fault with the bool write_locked() const query in various classes in the detail/read_write_mutex.hpp file performing a != instead of an == comparison. I noticed this primarily because I make this mistake all the time! Attached is the beta version of detail/read_write_mutex.hpp modified to use ==. I hope this helps, Neil Groves
