multi_array doc issue

To construct an array with a non-0 base, both the docs and the examples show the use: typedef typename boost::multi_array<flt_t,1> array1_t; typedef typename array1_t::extent_range range1_t; multi_array<flt_t,1> x (extents[range1_t (1, 10)]); But this style is redundant if you have a number of array types (e.g, various number of dimensions), because you would need a range_t for each array type. But, there range_t aren't really different types. After some searching I found boost::multi_array_types::extent_range was just what I needed. I don't think this appears in the docs or examples. I suggest that this is the preferred approach, not the one shown above (and in the multi_array docs and examples).

[system] missing vc80 libs?

After a successful build of Boost.System (cvs head) under vc80 I find the generated files (*boost_system-vc-*.*) in the output directory as expected. But when building my app the linker complains about missing vc80-libs (*boost_system-vc80-*.*). Looking at other boost libs I see that there are usually two versions of each vc-binary. For example: libboost_thread-vc-mt-sgd.lib libboost_thread-vc80-mt-sgd.lib When I renamed the libs as expected everything worked just fine. I guess Boost.System should provide properly named vc80 binaries. Cheers Sascha

build of documentation broken for HEAD?

When I try to build the documentation from BOOST_ROOT/doc by invoking bjam I get: error: Unable to find file or target named error: 'object(file-target)@1153' error: referred from project at error: '/home/roland/projects/boost/HEAD/tools/quickbook' The same works for RC_134_0 What I am missing?
