[iterators] iterator_facade

I am looking at implementing some iterators based on the design paradigms outlined in http://www.boost.org/libs/iterator/doc/iterator_facade.html In the first instance I am not able to use templates at all, but I would like to implement it in a template-friendly fashion, and hopefully make it fully templated in due course. My question is why is it recommended to implement iterator_core_accessfunctions as private static members of a separtate class rather making them a base class of iterator_facade which could be privately inherited and then remove the need to make iterator_core_access a friend of Derived?

[Sun][Serialization][Graph] Help with workaround for graph/serialize test

I'm trying to clear up the last remaining failures in the Graph library for 1.34.0, but one failure with the Sun compiler has me completely baffled. The failure is also shown here: http://tinyurl.com/zarxo Both the serialization and the graph libraries work almost flawlessly with this compiler, but in this case it appears that the compiler just isn't picking up the partial specialization for tracking_level (in boost/graph/adj_list_serialize.hpp). I tried dropping in a partial specialization of check_tracking and the compiler isn't finding that either. Anyone have any ideas? Workarounds? Cheers, Doug

Which means that it is reading tss_data as being 0. This is being executed inside a parsing of a spirit grammar. A static grammar that's accessed by two threads (on a dual core CPU). It always strikes on the last "job". I'm using asio and create 100 sockets, connect them to a SMTP and start receiving and sending SMTP commands (using spirit to parse the responses). Everything is done asynchronously and the demuxer is executed by two threads. I'm not very sure why tss_data is being seen as 0, and more strangely in the last message.
