request for boost:::program_options ...

Hi, I need a way of storing/retrieving options for an application. However, although boost::program_options seemed an obvious choice, it doesn't seem able to store options - it merly reads them in. I also couldn't find any documention on how its cfg files should be formatted for use with po::parse_config_file. Could we please have a way of storing program options also? I couldn't find information on why this feature wasn't implemented in the rationale. Also, documentation on how streams should be formatted for use with po::parse_config_file is missing. As I said, I don't think non-deterministic implementations exist, but probabilistic rounding apparently has some attractive features, and it is certainly allowed by the standard. The idea is that you calculate (in principle) the exact result, and round up the last bit with probability equal to (ExactValue - ValueWithLSBitRoundedDown) / ValueOfLastBit (In practise of course you don't need to calculate an infinite number of bits. You keep calculating extra bits until you get a bit that doesn't match your random number generator bit stream. What happened was that boost-jam changed the non english character into another symbol which led to that none of the abolute path's actually existet. I used the following wersion of boost-jam boost-jam-3.1.12-1-ntx86.zip Solution??: Unicode? boost::function overhead?

I'd like to use boost::function to wrap (pointer to) function to pass to template functions that expect function objects.
