[ptr_container] comparison operators

I can't find any code or docs dealing with comparison in the current CVS. Weren't ptr_container supposed to have deep comparison semantics? Regards // Fredrik Blomqvist

Visual Studio 2005 Beta 2 + Multi Index
by Gordon Smith 22 Apr '05

The following stdafx.h for a vanilla console app kills the beta 2 compiler (I think it creates a corrupt PCH file): #pragma once #define WIN32_LEAN_AND_MEAN // Exclude rarely-used stuff from Windows headers #include <windows.h> #include <tchar.h> // BOOST --- #include <boost/multi_index/sequenced_index.hpp> #include <boost/multi_index/ordered_index.hpp>

At least both non-blocking and a reactor. I don't see why just because you are using iostreams that these become excluded. /ikh

BGL::johnson_all_pairs_shortest_path question
by Andreas Fabri 22 Apr '05

Hello, What is the non-named parameter version of this algorithm. In the online manual it says Weight (and this is probably a typo, as there is a template parameter WeightMap). Also what are the arguments id1 and zero good for? andreas

Hello, When comparing the tables of content of the BGL http://www.boost.org/libs/graph/doc/table_of_contents.html http://www.boost-consulting.com/boost/libs/graph/doc/table_of_contents.html I see that the latter offers more algorithms. Are they also distributed ??? andreas

[Spirit + Graph] Request for help!
by Doug Gregor 22 Apr '05

22 Apr '05

The new GraphViz parser in the Graph library is implemented as an ultra-slick Spirit grammar from Ron Garcia. It works fine on newer versions of GCC and EDG, but Visual C++ 7.0 completely croaks with an internal compiler error. I've moved around code, eliminated some templates from the equation, etc., but I don't have a feel for how to fix the compiler, especially when Spirit is concerned. Are there any Spirit jockeys that could give me a few hints on how to deal with this or, better yet, get it working on VC 7.1? Cheers, Doug
