Support status for C++03 (std=c++03) in Boost [Version] on RHEL 9

Hello Boost Community, I am currently planning a large-scale migration of a legacy codebase from SourcePro Rogue Wave to Boost. Due to strict production requirements, we must maintain the -std=c++03 flag across environments: RedHat 9 (GCC 5.x) My Question: Is there any version of Boost, which can be considered the "Long Term Support" equivalent for C++03, for which Boost also release latest patch or security vulnerabilities or actively maintain that version? From older post/blogs, it seems Boost does not manage c++03 standard and provide support of latest standard of c++ only i.e. C++14 and so on. Thanks And Regards, Piyush

Dear Boost community, The formal review of Joaquín M. López Muñoz's boost::container::hub container is scheduled for April 16 - April 26. Hub is a nearly drop-in replacement of C++26 std::hive that has excellent performance. https://github.com/joaquintides/hub/blob/develop/README.md#performance The codebase is fairly small (single 1800-LOC header), and due to the subject matter, it is proposed to be part of Boost.Container rather than as a separate library. It's fully broken. Compare this: https://www.boost.org/doc/libs/1_90_0/doc/antora/msm/reference/euml-operato… To this: https://www.boost.org/doc/libs/1_89_0/libs/msm/doc/HTML/ch10.html It's clear that nobody took the time to review the output of whatever tool was used to auto-convert the old thing to Antora. This isn't the only place where the Antora version is broken.

[math] Remez algorithm in Boost Bessel implementation

Hi, I am currently working on the Struve function implementation alongside the Bessel functions. To approximate H₀(x) and H₁(x), I plan to use the Remez minimax approximation algorithm, similar to what is used in the current Bessel implementation: https://github.com/boostorg/math/blob/develop/include/boost/math/special_fu… (for example, in the region x ≤ 8). I see that an implementation of the Remez algorithm already exists in Boost here: https://github.com/boostorg/math/blob/develop/include_private/boost/math/to… I would like to ask which implementation of the Remez algorithm was used to derive the Bessel function approximations. Was it this Boost implementation, or a different one? Additionally, how were the reference values computed for the approximation process? Currently, I am using mpmath in Python to generate reference values for the Struve function with the required precision. Best regards, Zaripov Nail
