Meanwhile, the actual reason that Crhis does not accept contributions is because it can put his clients at legal risk.That is why he does very rarely accept PRs from particular individuals (such as Klemens).
I'm not sure this tracks, if I'm being honest. Do you have a source for this? On first glance, it doesn't make sense because the licensing isn't affected and then what's more, it's up to the consumer to trust the author (and what they merge) anyway. I don't see any legal liability or risk here. - Christian
