This is exactly the reason why I have been suspending the merge of `develop` into `master` for 7 months. Everything is happening only on the `develop` branch now. It has some breaking changes, including unannounced ones, because it's just got started. That said, it seems like Joel is suggesting further discussion to be continued on PR #807. Please follow the link.
