The discussion showed that at least some issues and PRs are handled. Did you or anyone else try submitting a PR adding the missing documentation?
LOL Andrey! You're trolling me, right? Did you not read what I just said?
Who is going to bother doing the work for a PR without some kind of assurance that there will be an interaction
If Chris accepted PRs then we wouldn't be having this conversation! It is hit or miss. Very rarely he does take a PR and rewrite it his own way. More often (i.e. almost always) he ignores it, without a comment. Why on earth would anyone want to invest energy into this broken process? Furthermore, in the example I gave (async_initiate), fixing this documentation requires some cooperation from Chris. He needs to answer questions about how the thing is supposed to work. There could be nuances, which we would never know without his help. Looking at the web logs, Asio documentation pages are the most visited out of any other pages in the boost website. Asio is probably the most popular Boost library. This makes sense, because connecting to the Internet is very important. Boost has a flagship library, Asio, and the maintainer is unresponsive. This is a problem, and no one cares. Thanks
