misunderstand - or even when people *are* hostile.
I have been civil, and Vinnicius did reply to my inquiry with no problem. You somehow had to misrepresent what I said to object to it. This thread is about whether or not to fork Asio. People are trying to understand what are the problems with it, and how having a fork will help boost and C++ overall. Nearly every healthy project gets forked (with exception of git), and it is necessary to have some frankness of speech to discuss the gripes and "grievances" (for a lack of better word) that people may have with any given project. This is not an attack to the honour of the original author. It is rather the very function of the whole open source endeavour. No single author is expected to abide by a set of rules, but communities are also allowed to discuss alternative approaches to certain projects. Claudio.
