On the 2007-03-17 Tom Bachmann asked a question on this mailing list on extending boost.program_options with some sort of GUI that would be automatically generated with the list of options of program_options. (see the archive at http://lists.boost.org/Archives/boost/2007/03/118161.php) After a few exchanges with Vladimir Prus, the creator of program_options, the thread was left unfinished.
