Reporter: anonymous | Type: Bugs
Status: new | Milestone: To Be Determined
Component: None | Version: Boost 1.34.1
Severity: Problem | Keywords:
-----------------------+----------------------------------------------------
On Fedora 7 (2.6.21-1.3228.fc7):
1. Got boost_1_34_1.tar.bz2.
2. tar xjf boost_1_34_1.tar.bz2
3. cd boost_1_34_1
4. ./configure
Building Boost.Jam with toolset gcc... tools/jam/src/bin.linux/bjam
Detecting Python version... 2.5
Detecting Python root... /usr
Unicode/ICU support for Boost.Regex?... not found.
Generating Boost.Build configuration in user-config.jam...
Generating Makefile...
5. gmake install
./tools/jam/src/bin.linux/bjam --user-config=user-config.jam
--prefix=/usr/local --exec-prefix=/usr/local --libdir=/usr/local/lib
--includedir=/usr/local/include install
/bin/sh: line 1: 5429 Segmentation fault
./tools/jam/src/bin.linux/bjam --user-config=user-config.jam
--prefix=/usr/local --exec-prefix=/usr/local --libdir=/usr/local/lib
--includedir=/usr/local/include install
Not all Boost libraries built properly.
Making it with --debug option and running
/tools/jam/src/bin.linux.debug/bjam resolves the problem.
