Comment:

 The code involved has changed quite a bit in the SVN trunk. The test case
 mentioned in the bug report is covered by the current operations_test, so
 should show up in testing for 1.35.0if there are still any problems.

 Note that operations_test is run with both static and dynamic linking. The
 static test has failed in the past on some platforms, and the dynamic test
 has failed on other platforms. Thus in any future trouble reports, please
 be sure to be very specific about the platform involved.
