#1830: not possible to use an option with only a short name

The option description class only allows to create options which have
either a long and a short name (using xxx,y syntax) or a long name. But
there's no way to create a option which only have a short name.
It would be nice to include such a feature in the future, since many
programs have are short name options which don't have a long name
correspondent.
