Comment:

 I have implemented grep_filter in [45833]. I still need to add tests for
 the member function count(), returning the number of lines matched, and am
 considering removing the 'options' constructor parameter and replacing it
 with a boolean parameter 'invert'

 As soon as this is done, I will document the filter and close this ticket
