 I can verify that the following compilers don't have any issues with the
 preferred syntax for Boost Function:
  * Visual C++ 2005 (8)
  * Visual C++ 2009 (9)
  * GNU G++ 4.2.x (presumably 4.x works but haven't tried 4.1 or 4.3)

 The list here does not seem to include the above:
