#2453: warning avoidance for altsstream
---------------------------+------------------------------------------------
Reporter: pbristow | Owner: samuel_krempp
Type: Patches | Status: new
Milestone: Boost 1.37.0 | Component: format
Version: Boost 1.36.0 | Severity: Cosmetic
Resolution: | Keywords: test warning

Comment(by pbristow):
Perhaps this has been fixed - or, because the name arg is very, very
widely used in many other modules (about 900 references) - some
combination of module use will trigger MSVC (at warning level 4?) to
complain. It doesn't list where the 'parameter arg was used as a type' so
I couldn't list the other module.
I can't remember the use - and I didn't specifically use format - it was
called by some other module.
Although slightly annoying, I suggest either mark as 'won't fix' - thanks
for looking into this.
Or just change the name arg to op_arg, for example?
