 ENOTRECOVERABLE and ECONNRESET seem to be the same on the broadcom 2.4
 chipset, as well as EOWNERDEAD and ECONNABORTED. As a consequence,
 boost_system failed to cross-compile.

 I'm attaching a patch that got it to work for me.
