Comment:

 I was not able to reproduce this problem. Also, there are very specific
 test cases in operations_test.cpp that would detect this problem, and they
 are not failing.

 Thus I'm closing the ticket. If someone wants to reopen, they need to
 provide specifics such as operating system, compiler, etc.
