 FWIW, this has changed now.
 {{{
 /[ProducerConcept]/
 }}}
 not produces the equivalent of:
 {{{
 \/[ProducerConcept]\/
 }}}
 As 'simple markup' can no longer contain `[` so `/` is not treated as
 italic markup and `[ProducerConcept]` gets expanded.

 I'll try to improve this in a future version.
