Comment (by mgaunard):

 While an implementation detail, I find that it is quite practical to have
 decltype emulation through Boost.Typeof (which unfortunately is not able
 to leverage decltype itself) when decltype is not available on the target
 compiler.

 Maybe it could be worth moving that out of Proto.
